Recover access (lost device)

Use this if you lost your phone, your code isn’t accepted, or you have multiple BreadWeb.us entries.

We’ll email a 6-digit code to verify and reset your MFA. After that you’ll set up a new code.

After reset: can’t scan the QR? Show manual setup steps
Enter the setup key manually
Google Authenticator
  1. Open the app → tap +.
  2. Choose Enter a setup key (not “Scan”).
  3. Account name: BreadWeb.us (or your email)
  4. Key: paste the long code from our page.
  5. Type: Time-based (TOTP) → Save → you’ll see a 6-digit code.
Microsoft Authenticator
  1. Open the app → + Add account.
  2. Select Other (Google, Facebook, etc.).
  3. Tap Enter code manually.
  4. Paste the long code → Save → a 6-digit code appears.
1Password / Bitwarden
  1. Edit the login → add One-Time Password (TOTP).
  2. Paste the long code (or the otpauth://… link) → you’ll get a 6-digit code.
Where to get the long code on our page

On the MFA QR screen, click “Can’t scan?” / “Enter code manually” → Copy code, then paste it into your app.

Gotchas
  • Don’t paste the long setup key into our 6-digit box—type the 6 digits from the app.
  • Make sure your phone’s time is set automatically.
  • Only delete or rename old BreadWeb.us entries after you reset MFA. Already-enrolled accounts show a code prompt (no QR). To get a new QR, reset MFA for that email, then sign in again to scan. If codes still fail or you lost your device, use Lost Device.
