13. Refund Request Policy

Overview: BreadWeb is committed to customer satisfaction. If you request a refund, please note that you will receive a net refund—this is the original gross charge less non‑refundable deductions (Stripe processing fees and BreadWeb commission).

Refund Calculation:

  • Gross Charge: The full amount you paid.
  • Deductions: The net refund is computed by subtracting:
    • Stripe Processing Fees (non‑refundable).
    • BreadWeb Commission (non‑refundable).

Your confirmation email—including your unique Charge Code—explains this calculation. The system automatically computes the net refundable amount for you.

How to Request a Refund:

  • You must be logged into your BreadWeb account.
  • Begin your refund request by confirming the Charge Code provided in your purchase confirmation email (sent to your email). The refund request form displays:
    • Your Charge Code (for verification).
    • A notice that, due to non‑refundable fees, you will receive the net amount only.
    • A field labeled “Reason to Request Refund / Comment” for you to explain your refund request.

Seller Responsibility & Processing:

  • Sellers are responsible for initiating the refund within three (3) business days from the time the refund request is received.
  • If the seller fails to act within this period, BreadWeb will notify and remind the seller. If no action is taken after these reminders, BreadWeb reserves the right to process the refund on behalf of the seller.

Verification: Our system verifies that the Charge Code provided in your refund request matches a transaction processed with your registered email address. This ensures that only the buyer who made the purchase may request a refund for that transaction.

Communication & Notifications:

  • Immediately upon submitting a refund request, the system sends email notifications to:
    • The Buyer: Confirming your refund request details, including your Charge Code and the computed net refundable amount.
    • The Seller: Informing them of the refund request for a transaction associated with their product.
    • BreadWeb: For internal tracking and follow-up.
  • If you have any questions or need assistance, you can contact the seller directly or reach out to BreadWeb support at breadweb2022@gmail.com or info@breadweb.us.
